Overview
Seen Rising (“we”, “us”, “our”) is a design studio. This policy explains what personal information we collect when you visit seenrising.com, enquire about a project, or work with us, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. We only collect what we genuinely need to respond to you and run the studio, and we never sell your personal information.
Information We Collect
Information you give us: your name, email address, phone number, company or brand name, project details, budget indication, and anything else you choose to include in an enquiry, brief, email, or booked call. Information we receive automatically: your IP address, browser and device type, referring page, the pages you view, and time spent on them, gathered through standard server logs and privacy-friendly analytics. Client project information: files, brand assets, feedback, and correspondence shared with us during an engagement.
How We Use Your Information
We use your information to reply to enquiries and prepare proposals, deliver and manage design work, send invoices and keep accounting records, maintain and improve the website, and — only where you have opted in — send occasional studio updates. Our legal bases are your consent (for marketing and non-essential cookies), the performance of a contract (for client work), our legitimate interests (running and securing the studio and site), and legal obligations (tax and accounting records).
Cookies and Analytics
The site uses essential cookies required for pages to function, and analytics cookies that help us understand which work and pages people engage with. Analytics data is aggregated and is not used to build advertising profiles. You can refuse or delete cookies at any time through your browser settings; essential functionality will still work, though some preferences may not be remembered.
Sharing Your Information
We share information only with service providers who help us operate: website hosting and analytics, email and calendar providers, cloud file storage, and accounting or payment processors. These providers process data on our instructions. We may also disclose information where required by law. We do not sell or rent your personal information, and we do not share client project material publicly without permission — case studies are only published once a client has agreed.
How Long We Keep It
Enquiries that do not become projects are kept for up to 24 months in case you get back in touch, then deleted. Client project files and correspondence are kept for the duration of the engagement and for up to 7 years afterwards where needed for portfolio rights, warranty, tax, or accounting purposes. Analytics data is retained in aggregate. Marketing subscribers are removed as soon as they unsubscribe.
Security
Data is stored with reputable providers using encryption in transit, access controls, and two-factor authentication on studio accounts. Access is limited to the people working on your project. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we keep the amount of personal data we hold to a minimum and review our tools regularly.
Your Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access the personal information we hold about you, correct it, ask us to delete it, restrict or object to how we use it, receive a copy in a portable format, and withdraw consent for marketing at any time. To exercise any of these, email us and we will respond within 30 days. You may also complain to your local data protection authority.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy as the studio, our tools, or the law change. The revised version and its date will always be posted on this page, and material changes affecting how we use your information will be highlighted here.
